Product Description: How to Iron a Patch
Begin by placing the item on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Iron the area where the patch will be applied to ensure it remains smooth and free of wrinkles.
Position the patch where you want it on the fabric, ensuring the adhesive side is flat against the base cloth. Preheat your iron and press down on the front of the patch for approximately 10 to 20 seconds to initially set the patch.
Next, place the heated iron on top of the patch and press down firmly. Iron the back of the patch for 20 to 60 seconds to ensure the adhesive melts thoroughly and the patch adheres firmly to the garment.
Move to the front of the garment and iron over the patch for about 1 minute, paying special attention to the edges. This will help the patch blend smoothly with the fabric and ensure a seamless finish.
Turn off the iron and allow the patch to cool. Check if the patch is securely attached. If it lifts slightly, press it again with the iron for an additional 10 seconds.
Tips: For a more secure application, consider sewing the patch onto the clothing in addition to ironing. A few stitches along the edges or at vulnerable points can greatly reduce the likelihood of the patch peeling off.

Warnings: Avoid using patches on silk or other delicate fabrics. When applying patches to polyester, be cautious as high temperatures can burn the fabric or alter its color.
